JIC Implements Health Protocols for Eid al-Adha Prayer

Jakarta Islamic Centre (JIC) Mosque, North Jakarta, will implement health protocols in holding Eid al-Adha prayer on Friday (7/31).

Committee has prepared hand sanitizers in several locations and 3 isolation rooms

JIC Mosque Eid al-Adha 1441 Hijri Comittee Chairman, Aep Saifullah Fudhail mentioned, Eid al-Adha prayer will be started from 7 AM which lead by KH. Azis Alhafizh and KH. Ahmad Lutfi Fathullah as the preacher (khatib).

According to him, the committee will mark the safe distance between worshipers for Eid prayer. He estimated about 10,000 worshipers will attend at Eid al-Adha prayer.

"It is half from mosque's maximum capacity which is 20,680 people," he added, Wednesday (7/29).

JIC Secretariat Head, Ahmad Juhandi stated, his side has coordinated it with several related agencies to anticipate COVID-19 transmission on the location.

"Committee has prepared hand sanitizers in several locations and 3 isolation rooms to anticipate worshipers with temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius," he explained.
